I've reset the cmos by pulling the power, cmos battery and shorting the rtc clock jumper. Can you run an M2 nvme ssd in sata mode on the M2 socket? I am not using M2A.I am using the M2P port. I also have two WD Blue ssds in my sata 1 and 2 ports. WHEA error and then nvme ssd disappearing from bios until power is pulled. Could it be the nvme ssd? Looking online it seems that a lot of people are having this same issue. Is there a whea utility that will give me more specific details as to whats going on? I got these errors on two separate motherboards. I looked it up and it could be that the m2 port that shares pcie is the culprit and that I should use the m2 slot on my board that share sata instead. Any idea what this could be? NVME ssd dying? Bad m2 port on the MB? I have a gigabyte vision g board. When I powered off my pc then, And powered it back on, it booted into windows fine and is running. So basically it crashed, found no bootable disk and just booted back into the bios. The odd thing I notice is when it shuts down, it boots back into the bios and my m2 nvme drive is no longer showing in the bios. I have the latest firmware and bios and drivers on a clean install of win 10 pro. I am getting this error in windows 10 pro.
